One of the most exciting things for me is receiving a custom bridal jewelry request. I love to create my own ideas but it is always a pleasure to have a request from a bride that has envisions for the jewelry of her bridesmaid.

My lovely customer was looking for something classic,so I decided to make these pearl earrings.

I cannot wait to see photos from that day with all the bridesmaids wearing their jewels!

How to choose bridesmaid jewelry

Chosing the right jewelry for your bridesmaids is not always an easy task. Jewelry should enhance the theme of your wedding and match the flowers and the colors of the wedding party.The bridesmaid jewelry should also complement the looks of your girls.

Firstly,you should decide what type of metal will be the best for the shade of your dress,for example if you are going to have a white gown,you should stick with pearls and platinum.If your gown is going to be diamond-white it will be the best if you chose gold and silver and if you are going to have an ivory gown stick with gold jewelry that will highlight the creamy tint of the fabric.

Another thing you need to remember is to pair the neckline style with the proper adornment.It will  add the character to the dresses and will highlight their unique feature.

If the dresses of your bridesmaids have V-neck then you could chose a thin chain with small pendant or a single or double stranded pearls.If the dress is vintage inspired you could create a contrast by choosing modern bridesmaids jewelry.

Also,chose handmade bridesmaid  jewelry,it can be more personalised and your bridesmaids will feel that you care.

Bridesmaids Necklaces in Custom Colours

Bonjour,

These necklaces were a custom order for my one of my lovely customer.She wanted to have the necklaces made with ribbon in different colours.All six of her bridesmaids are going to have the dresses in different colours.The dresses are going to be exactly the same like the ones on the pictures.

Valentine’s Day Weddings

You only get one chance to have a great wedding. Well, we hope this will be the case anyway
So you probably want to make sure this will be a day everybody will remember. You want to be sure this wedding will be remembered as the most romantic ever.
What would be the most romantic day to get married?

Of course,it would be Valentine’s Day…on this day you could celebrate your love story with all those special details. On that day an old-fashioned look is always a good choice. You’ll want to wear a classic style dress or you would decide to go for a white dress with red accents.

As you might be aware of, you will not be the only one to have the idea to do your wedding on Valentines day. So make sure you book your venue in advance.For your wedding favors you could use heart-shaped chocolates and you could write a note thanking your guests for being your Valentines.Also,you could decorate the room with soft lighting, gauzy fabrics, flowers and lots of candles.

However it is so easy to overdose those Valentine’s decorations,for a chic wedding you just need to add a right amount of colours and symbols.

Spring trends

I am definitely in a spring time frame of mind.I could not help but notice that bold prints and bright colours were  this season’s trends during New York Fashion Week’s 2013.  Mixing daring patterns and bold shades that were shown by Marc Jacobs are so inspiring!

What is the favourite movie of all girls?When the girls think about the wedding what is the name of the brand that pop up in their heads instantly…? Breakfast at Tiffany’s is surely one of the first answers,because who does not dream of Tiffany’s?The classic tiffany blue is so stunning and it can make such a gorgeous wedding theme.
